Online Mini Baccarat: Game Basics and Rules
Online mini baccarat follows the same rules as regular online baccarat. Mini baccarat, however, has significantly lower minimum/maximum bet limits than regular baccarat. The lower bet limits of online mini baccarat allow players to play the game without risking much. This means also that players with small to medium-sized bankrolls to enjoy the game as much as the high rollers of online baccarat/
To play online mini baccarat, a player begins by cutting the deck of cards of cards. To cut the deck, simply left-click on the deck of cards.
An online mini baccarat game screen includes also virtual chips of varied denominations, a virtual table, a box showing your current balance, and in some casinos, an avatar of the virtual dealer.
The virtual table is divided into three betting areas: Player, Banker, and Tie.
To wager on any of these choices, left-click on a chip (of the denomination of your choice), then click on the betting area. If you wish on wager more than 1 chip, click on the same betting area again and again until you have reached the total value you like to wager.
When done, left click the "Deal" button to start the dealing of cards. A total of 4 cards will be dealt initially--- two cards to the Player hand, two cards to the Banker hand.
These are the card point values used in online mini baccarat: Ace is equal to 1 point. K, Q, J, and 10 are equal to 0. Cards 2 through 9 are taken at their face value.
If neither hand has reached a sum of 8 or 9, a third card will be dealt to either or both hands following the game's fixed third card rules.
Based on the third card rules, a player's hand is dealt another card if its sum is 0 through 5. If its is 6 through 8, no further card is drawn. A sum of 8 or 9 is considered a natural.
A third card is dealt to Banker hand if:
a. its total value is 0 through 2; b. it's total value is 3, and Player's third card is 0 through 7, and 9; c. it's total value is 4, and Player's third card is 2 through 7; d. it's total value is 5, and Player's third card is 4 through 7; e. it's total value is 6, and Player's third card is 6 or 7;
Like Player, Banker stands on 7.
The two hands are then compared, and your game screen would announce the point values for each hand.
If you win, you will be paid 1:1 for either Banker or Player bet. If you bet Tie and the outcome is Tie, you will be paid 8:1 or 9:1. Your winnings will automatically be reflected in your current balance box. If you lose, the virtual dealer would collect your bets, and the sum would be deducted from your current balance.
